action

Shortly after the Civil War , war hero and sniper Michael Atherton is on his way to the remote prairie town of Kingston. On the way, he comes across a group of men who are about to whip the prostitute Wendy. In self-defense, he shoots the tormentors, including the only son of the great ranger Jerry Crants.

Crants has the entire city under control; whoever acts against him will be killed by his men. Atherton takes a stand against him and, as a law enforcement officer, uses his shooting skills to defend the citizens from Crant's henchmen. He seeks revenge and causes a massacre with his mob in the city. However, Crants is killed by one of his own people - the lawless Kyle wants to take power himself. To this end, he attaches the murder of Crants Atherton, who then ends up in prison. There Atherton is tortured, in particular his firing hand is affected.

With the help of Wendy, Atherton manages to use his hand again to fire the now modified firearm, and in the showdown he kills Kyle.
