Hubertus Bengsch
Hubertus Bengsch (born July 10, 1952 in West Berlin ) is a German actor and voice actor .
Life
Hubertus Bengsch completed his A-levels at the Jesuit high school Canisius-Kolleg Berlin and studied at the Max Reinhardt School for Drama in Berlin . He then played at theaters in Hanover , Bochum , Berlin and Salzburg . He also worked in numerous television productions.
Bengsch, son of Hubert Bengsch and a nephew of Cardinal Alfred Bengsch , had his breakthrough in 1981 in Wolfgang Petersen's film Das Boot . In this film he played the 1st officer on watch. He was later seen in a role in the series The Country Doctor . He played a teacher who started a relationship with his student, Kerstin, a country doctor's daughter.
In the mid-1980s, Hubertus Bengsch became a sought-after voice actor . The distinctive voice became the trademark of the German dubbed version of the television series Der Nachtfalke , in which Bengsch gave his voice to the main character, radio presenter Jack Kilian , played by Gary Cole .
He has been the standard voice of Richard Gere since the 1990 film Pretty Woman . He also lent his voice to Harold Ramis ( Ghostbusters ). Bengsch dubbed Martín Seefeld alias Franco Colucci in the teen novel Rebelde Way - Live your life .
In the series CSI: The perpetrators on the trail , he was the German dubbing voice of the character Gil Grissom , played by William Petersen , and in the sitcom Full House he spoke Dave Coulier as Joey Gladstone until the middle of the seventh season . Other synchronized roles are Murder Files ( RTL II ) and Medical Detectives ( VOX / RTL Crime ). In the film V for Vendetta he voiced Stephen Fry as Gordon Deitrich . In Reservoir Dogs , he was the voice of K-Billy DJ.
For a long time he was also heard as voiceover on the ZDF program Telemotor , which was broadcast from 1977 to 1994.
Bengsch has performed roles in charity events for needy children, telephone services, and commercials.
