Bert Franzke

Bert Franzke (born March 7, 1946 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Franzke graduated from high school and then trained as an agricultural engineer until 1965. He plays the piano and speaks Russian and English . At the Theater Academy Leipzig he made a degree actor after his studies. He had engagements among many others from 1977 to 1988 at the Leipzig Theater and in 1988 at the Dresden State Operetta .

Franzke spoke among other things for the synchronization of the science fiction series Babylon 5 (1993-1998) for five years Londo Mollari , the ambassador of the Centauri and one of the leading roles. In addition, he worked as a voice actor in the films Flutsch und weg and The animal crazy farm and as an actor in the crime scene A Case for Honest . In the cartoon series The Savior Knight , he gave his voice to a main character. Franzke can also be heard as Joshamee Gibbs in the Pirates of the Caribbean .

After the death of Hans-Werner Bussinger , Franzke spoke the role of Dr. Walter Bishop in the US mystery series Fringe - Borderline cases by the FBI . He also took over the speaking role of Hans-Werner Bussinger in One Tree Hill as coach Brian "Whitey" Durham. He also dubbed the role of Immortan Joe in Mad Max: Fury Road .
