Jewish cemetery on Doelen (Dinslaken)
The Jewish cemetery on Doelen is a former Jewish cemetery in the city of Dinslaken ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It is located to the west of the Platz d ' Agen, located by the city park and named after the Aquitaine twin town Dinslakens .
history
The burial site was laid out after 1722 and occupied until the beginning of the 20th century; its successor is the Jewish cemetery in the park cemetery , which has been in use since 1906 . Due to road expansion, the Jewish cemetery disappeared at the beginning of the 20th century. Around 60 tombstones were moved to the new cemetery, where they are still lined up today.
