Jürgen Feddersen (born March 19, 1944 in Sankt Peter-Ording ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After elementary school , Feddersen completed an apprenticeship as a retail salesman and then worked as the owner of a grocery store.

From 1998 to 2001 he was deputy managing director of the Neue Pellwormer Dampfschifffahrtsgesellschaft mbH and has been a member of its supervisory board since 2002. From 1993 to 2000 he was also honorary chairman of the West Coast Alliance and has been chairman of the DRK local association on Pellworm since 2011 .

Jürgen Feddersen is married and has two daughters.

Political party

Feddersen joined the CDU in 1972 and was deputy chairman of the CDU district association in North Friesland from 1986 to 1990 .

Public offices

From 1990 to 2005 Feddersen was head of the Pellworm office . 2013 to 2018 he was mayor of the Pellworm community ; he had held this office until 2005.

MP

From 1978 to 1995 Feddersen belonged to the district council of the district of North Friesland.

From 2000 to 2009, Feddersen was a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein , always as a directly elected member of the Husum- Land constituency . In the 2005 state elections, he received 49.8% of the first votes . In the state parliament he was a member of the board of the CDU state parliamentary group and was chairman of the tourism and transport group working group . He was also the spokesman for the group for coastal protection .

Feddersen was also sent to the twelfth federal assembly by the state parliament in 2004 .

Awards

In August 2019, Feddersen was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit of Merit for his four decades of commitment to local politics .
