Jürgen Reinking

Jürgen Reinking (born November 29, 1940 , † May 14, 2012 ) was a German teacher , politician ( SPD ) and district administrator .

Life

Until the political change in the GDR, Reinking worked as a teacher in the city of Strausberg . After the fall of the Wall, he worked as a member of the Strausberg city parliament. Then he was employed in the administration of the Strausberg district and later, after the formation of the Märkisch-Oderland district, became Gunter Fritsch's deputy district administrator . In 1997, Fritsch joined the state government as Minister for Food, Agriculture and Forestry for the State of Brandenburg. After his departure, Reinking worked as district administrator and was confirmed in office in 1998. Reinking served as district administrator from 1997 until his retirement in 2005 in the Märkisch-Oderland district . His successor as District Administrator Gernot Schmidt took office on December 1, 2005.

Reinking was buried in the Protestant cemetery Sankt Marien in Strausberg.
