Gunter Fritsch
Gunter Fritsch (born October 5, 1942 in Landsberg an der Warthe , Brandenburg province ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He is a former state minister. D. and was President of the Brandenburg State Parliament . He is also state chairman of the German War Graves Commission eV in Brandenburg.
Life
The flight from the Red Army in 1945 ended for Gunter Fritsch and his family in Tabarz / Thür. Forest . From May 2007 to January 2008 he was married to the pediatrician Christa-Maria Engst, a non-party member of the SPD parliamentary group, until her death in Brandenburg an der Havel . They met during their shared hobby of mountaineering in Saxon Switzerland , then lost sight of each other and met again in 2004 after 40 years.

Gunter Fritsch has been a member of the SPD since 1990 and belongs to the Müncheberg local association. From 1990 to 1993 he was a city councilor in Müncheberg. From October 1993 to 1997 he was a member of the district council of the Märkisch-Oderland district . From October 2003 to October 2004 he was again a member of the district council of Märkisch-Oderland. From September 2008 to July 2012 he was a member of the city council of Brandenburg an der Havel and a member of the committee for finance and real estate.
In the state elections in September 1999 he was elected for the first time as a member of the Brandenburg state parliament and was also chairman of the SPD parliamentary group and the main committee until October 2004. In the 2004 state elections, he was able to re-enter the Brandenburg state parliament via the state list. After the state elections in Brandenburg in 2014 , he left the state parliament.
