J'Leon Love

J'Leon Love (* 25. September 1987 in Inkster , Michigan , United States ) is an American boxer in the super middleweight and former WBA -International champion. He is trained by Roger Mayweather , promoted by Floyd Mayweather Jr. and managed by Cameron Dunkin .

Amateur career

The 1.83 meter tall Love boxing in the left display had a thoroughly successful career as an amateur. He completed a total of 120 fights, of which he made 115 winners and only lost 5.

Among other things, he was four times in a row Detroit Golden Gloves Champion from 2006 to 2009 and three times in a row US from 2006 to 2008 . Michigan State Champion . He was also National Ringside World Champion in 2007 and 2nd in both the National Golden Gloves and the National PAL Golden Gloves .

Professional career

Love made his professional debut at the end of January 2010 with a technical knockout victory in round 1 over Vince Burkhalter.

In May 2014, he earned the vacant international belt of the WBA when he unanimously defeated the Mexican Marco Antonio Periban (20-1-1) on points.
