The JS-Magazin - the evangelical magazine for young soldiers is a German military magazine that has been published monthly since 1986 . It is published by the community of Protestant journalism in Frankfurt am Main as part of the evangelical military pastoral care for the armed forces . The journal archive is available online from the 2016 editions and newer.

JS-Magazin is published on behalf of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD). The managing editor is the chief military dean Dirck Ackermann from the Evangelical Church Office for the Bundeswehr in Berlin . Other editors are Thies Gundlach , Vice President of the Church Office of the EKD , Oberkirchenrat Albrecht Steinhäuser from the Evangelical Church of Anhalt and the communication scientist and journalist Will Teichert.

In 2011, the magazine received the Kress Award 2011 for the best corporate media product of the year, presented by the communications industry service provider kressreport .
