In the spring of 1961 , the Kasseler Waggonfabrik Wegmann & Co. supplied the Jugoslovenske Železnice (JŽ) with the powerful motorized saloon railcar MOT 410 , which replaced two older saloon railcars built by the Italian wagon factory Breda before the Second World War , for use by Yugoslavia's Marshal Tito .
Technical specifications
The electrical equipment came from BBC Mannheim , Daimler-Benz supplied the engine, Voith supplied the hydraulic transmission and Behr supplied the cooling system. The shell of a control vehicle was also transferred , the interior of which was carried out by the Yugoslavian wagon factory Boris Kidrič in Maribor in 1962.
The exclusively furnished locomotive has several living rooms and bedrooms, a modern kitchen, hot water supply and a radio room with several transmitters. Power is supplied via an auxiliary diesel engine or external sockets. The railcar has two driver's cabs, the control car only one. The bogies are of the Munich-Kassel type .
The measurement and acceptance runs took place in May 1961 on the Zagreb - Split route .
The no longer operational railcar and the associated P 411 control car are in the Belgrade Railway Museum .
