Jack Hendry (born May 7, 1995 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish football player who plays for Celtic Glasgow and the Scottish national team.

Career

society

Jack Hendry played at Dundee United and Partick Thistle in his youth . In 2015, Hendry made four league appearances for Partick before moving to Wigan Athletic in England. After his engagement, the then 20-year-old central defender was loaned to Shrewsbury Town in the English third division. Later a loan to Milton Keynes Dons followed . Without having played for Wigan, he moved back to Scotland in July 2017 and signed a contract with Dundee FC . In Dundee he became a regular and moved to Celtic Glasgow after half a year . In Glasgow he won the Scottish Championship directly .

National team

In March 2018, Hendry was appointed to the squad of the Scottish senior team. The new national coach Alex McLeish nominated him for the internationals against Costa Rica and Hungary . Hendry made his national team debut in the game against Hungary on March 27, 2018.
