Jacob Heinzerling
Jacob Heinzerling , also Jakob Heinzerling (born September 12, 1846 in Siegen , † April 19, 1941 ibid) was a German homeland and dialect researcher of the Siegerland and a university professor.
Heinzerling was together with Hermann Reuter , whose former secondary school teacher he was, the author and editor of the Siegerland dictionary . From 1911 to 1924 Heinzerling was the founding chairman of the Siegerland Homeland and History Association .
A street was named after him in his hometown of Siegen.
