Jacoba Bedaux

Jacoba Bedaux ( 1942 - 2002 ) was a Dutch sound artist and the director of the gallery Bedaux.

life and work

Jacoba MA Bedaux was born in the Netherlands in 1942. She worked with the artist Relly Tarlo for about twenty years . In the 1980s, the couple founded Tarlo Bedaux Productions and the "Tracks" emerged. It is a series of installations in which Bedaux and Tarlo create different sounds by rolling marbles , ping-pong balls and other objects through various pipes and acoustically amplifying the sound produced with a contact microphone .
