Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (born April 17, 1987 in Windsor , Ontario ) is a Canadian actress , singer and model .

Life

MacInnes Wood has a sister, Dani Probert, who was the wife of the late NHL player  Bob Probert . She has French, Native American, Scottish and Brazilian ancestors.

MacInnes Wood took acting classes at Ryerson University .

In her private life she is involved in animal rescue.

Career

MacInnes Wood got her first professional acting experience as an actress in a television commercial for a hairdressing chain.

Her breakthrough came when she took on the role of Steffy Forrester in the CBS soap opera Reich und Schön in May 2008 . For this role, she received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2012 and 2013 .

In 2011, the Canadian played her first role in a feature film , Final Destination 5 . In 2012 she played Sara Lance during the first season of Arrow .

In addition to acting, MacInnes Wood has released several music singles.

Since 2013 she has been the presenter of the E! Broadcast Party On .
