Jacques Servier

Jacques Servier (born February 9, 1922 in Vatan , Département Indre ; † April 16, 2014 ) was a French entrepreneur , doctor and pharmacist .

Life

Servier studied medicine and pharmacy. In 1954, Servier founded the French company Servier . According to the US Forbes Magazine , Servier was one of the richest French. Since 2012 Servier has been charged with deadly slimming pills, with more than 350 victims and survivors along with four former executives of his company. Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy has worked for the Serviers company since the 1980s.

Jacques Servier died in April 2014 at the age of 92.
