Jacques de Mahieu

Jacques de Mahieu (* 1915 in Marseille ; † October 4, 1990 in Buenos Aires ) was a French writer of the Nouvelle Droite .

Life

Jacques de Mahieu was born Jacques Girault in 1915 in Marseille. During the Second World War he was a volunteer in the 33rd Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS "Charlemagne" . After the liberation of France , he fled via the rat line to Argentina , where he joined the regime of Juan Perón and drafted various basic texts for Peron. He later also gave ideas there for Roman Catholic youth groups.

Mahieu studied at both the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo and the Universidad de Buenos Aires . He holds a PhD in philosophy , medicine , economics, and politics. He then became director of the Institute for Human History at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (1953–1956 and 1972–1976). He took on other teaching activities from 1948 to 1956 at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (1948–1955) and at the Universidad del Salvador (1964–1965).

Mahieu wrote over 20 books that stood out mainly for their racist and sexist theories. Mahieu spread the thesis that the Vikings had already traveled to America in 967 and founded the ruling class of the Incas there; He paid particular attention to sexual debauchery. Several expeditions to the Amazon and to Paraguay were intended to substantiate his theories. He discovered the tribe of the "Guayakis", which he examined according to National Socialist racial principles and described as half Aryan , half degenerate and introduced as descendants of the Vikings. In the Sete Cidades National Park he discovered bizarre rocks, which he identified as phalluses , and another rock formation that, according to his research , is supposed to be reminiscent of the Externsteine .

Mahieu's main works were translated in Germany by Wilfred von Oven and published by Grabert-Verlag . Mahieu died on October 4, 1990 in Buenos Aires.
