Jadel Gregório (born September 16, 1980 in Jandaia do Sul , Paraná state ) is a Brazilian triple jumper .

The 1999 Pan-American junior champion won the bronze medal at the 2001 Universiade . In 2003 he was sixth at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham , fifth at the World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis and won silver at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo .

Another silver medal at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest in 2004 was followed by a fifth place at the Olympic Games in Athens . The following year he was sixth at the World Championships in Helsinki . At the indoor world championships in 2006 he came back to silver.

His most successful year so far was 2007. On May 20, 2007, he achieved a width of 17.90 m in Belém and was seventh in the all-time world rankings (as of July 2008). At the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, he won silver and in the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro gold.

Jadel Gregório is 2.00 m tall and has a competition weight of 98 kg. He lives in São Paulo . At the Brazilian Championships he also started in the long jump and became national champion in 2002 and 2004. There he also set his personal best of 8.22 m in 2004.
