Jaden Pine-Murphy (born March 2, 1990 ) is a New Zealand ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with Melbourne Ice in the Australian Ice Hockey League since 2013 .

Career

Club

Jaden Pine-Murphy began his career as a hockey player on the New Plymouth youth team . Since 2013 he has played with Melbourne Ice in the Australian Ice Hockey League , for which he still plays with a short break when he played two games in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League for Dunedin Thunder in 2015 . After conceding the best conceded goals in the Australian league in 2014, he won the Goodall Cup with Melbourne Ice .

National team

Pine-Murphy played for New Zealand at the Division II World Championships in 2012 , 2014 , when he achieved the second-best catch rate of all goalkeepers in the tournament with 93.64%, behind Spaniard Ander Alcaine , and 2015 .
