history

The Hegering Harsewinkel Hunting Horn Corps was founded in Marienfeld in September 1959 by two musicians from the neighboring Hegering Hunting Horn Corps Hubertus Wiedenbrück . The first rehearsal room for blowing hunting signals was the deck station there. In the first year the corps grew to eight active members. On January 27, 1961, the organist and sexton from St. Lucia took over the management of the corps and practiced further signals. A room from the Claas company now served as a practice room .

From 1961 the corps took part in district championships in Warendorf and was able to achieve almost all victories up to the municipal reorganization in 1973. In 1971 the association elected a board for the first time.

In 1972 the group competed for the first time in category C at the state competition in Gelsenkirchen , where they came in eleventh place with 633.0 points. For the competition, the wind corps received its first uniform. From 1977 the group qualified for all national competitions and won four first, seven second and two third places.

In 1981 the record was made funny is the hunt . In the summer of 2002 the CD Jagdhornklänge from Harsewinkel was recorded at the Claas Technoparc .
