Jair García (born October 25, 1978 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ) is a Mexican football player on the position of a striker .
Life
García received his first professional contract with CF Monterrey , for which he only came to a use in the Mexican Primera División , which he completed on February 27, 1999 in the derby at the neighboring UANL Tigres (0-2). For the following season 1999/00 he was loaned to the playing in the second division farm team Saltillo Soccer , before he was committed by his "home club" CD Guadalajara , with which he was under contract for the next three and a half years.
During his time at Chivas , he also made the leap to the Mexican national team , for which he was used for the first time on October 31, 2001 in a friendly against El Salvador (4-1). Two more international appearances followed in the context of the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2002 , where he also scored the winning goal on January 19, 2002 in the group game against El Salvador (1-0). Another use followed on January 27, 2002 in the quarter-finals against South Korea, which was lost after a goalless game with 2: 4 on penalties . It was also his last international match.
At the beginning of January 2004 he switched to Puebla FC and found no permanent job from then on. Even though he has been under contract with Puebla FC since 2007, his appearances have changed every six months to yearly. In the first team of Puebla FC, he only made a total of 20 first division appearances in the seasons of Apertura 2007 , Apertura 2008 and Apertura 2012 . With the exception of a loan to the CD Cruz Azul in the Clausura 2008 , for which he came to four first division appearances and the Indios de Ciudad Juárez , for which he completed ten first division appearances in the Torneo Bicentenario 2010 , he otherwise always played with second division clubs. In the 2014/15 season he is on the Altamira FC borrowed.
