Jake Gosling (born August 11, 1993 in Oxford , England ) is a Gibraltar football player who currently plays for Bristol Rovers .

Career

society

Gosling was admitted to youth by Swindon Town at the age of ten, and moved to Plymouth Argyle a year later after his family moved to Newquay . At 16 he was released from Plymouth and then attended Hartpury College. During his time in college, he received and accepted an offer for the youth team from Exeter City . In April 2012 he was accepted into the professional squad, his first professional appearance he made on January 12, 2013 in a game against Southend United , when he came on for Steve Tully when the score was 3-0 . He scored his first goal in a 3-0 win over Northampton Town in the 4th division .

In 2014 he was loaned to Gloucester City and scored three goals in twelve appearances. After the loan period ended, Gosling announced he was leaving Exeter and joined Bristol Rovers on June 24, 2014.

National team

In January 2014 it was announced that Gosling is entitled to play for the Gibraltar national team, he was considered by coach Allen Bula and appointed to the squad. Gosling made his debut for the national team against Estonia , was in the starting line-up and also scored a goal, the game ended 1-1. That goal was also Gibraltar's first away goal since joining UEFA .
