Jakob Fellin

Jakob Fellin (born January 26, 1869 in Revò , Trentino , † August 24, 1951 in Graz ) was an Austrian librarian and director of the Graz University Library .

Life

Jakob Fellin joined the Graz University Library in 1899 and, as the successor to Ferdinand Eichler, was its director from 1924 until his retirement in 1933. By chance he succeeded in discovering the theft of books in 1929 by the librarian Joseph Urdich . His life's work was a philosophical bibliography , most of which, however, remained unpublished.

Fellin was a member of the Corps Rhaetia , Joannea and Vandalia Graz .
