Jakob Sure

Jakob Klar (born September 23, 1783 in Bruck , Kurpfalz-Bayern , † May 12, 1833 in Munich , Kingdom of Bavaria ) was a Bavarian administrative lawyer and politician.

Life

He studied law at the University of Landshut . He then worked as an actuary at the Dachau regional court from 1806 and at the Vilsbiburg regional court from 1807 . In 1814 he came to the Munich City Court as an assessor . With the formation of a community committee through the community edict of 1818, Klar became a legally qualified magistrate in Munich. In 1823 he was elected second mayor and remained in this office until his death in May 1833.

From 1825 to 1832 Klar was also a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Bavarian State Assembly . He was considered to be "actively loyal to the government" and actively tried to influence other deputies in the conservative sense.

Honors

Jakob-Klar-Strasse was named after him on October 29, 1924 in the Schwabing district of Munich .
