In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

history

precursor

Since 1411 Geisenhausen was the seat of a ducal nursing office , which was moved to Vilsbiburg in 1760. At that time it was called the nursing or district court Vilsbiburg. It belonged to the Landshut Rent Office of the Electorate of Bavaria.

The district court of the older order

In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria, the regional courts of the older order emerged around 1803 , including in Vilsbiburg. At this time, a part of the Teisbach Regional Court with Frontenhausen was added to him. After the establishment of the Kingdom of Bavaria, the Vilsbiburg district court belonged to the Isar district . In 1838 the Vilsbiburg Regional Court had to hand over some communities to the newly established Dingolfing Regional Court in the course of a further administrative reform . As a result of this reform, the district court district was subordinated to the Lower Danube District . In the same year it was renamed the district in Lower Bavaria , from which the administrative district of the same name emerged .

Separation of administrative and legal tasks

With the separation of administrative and legal tasks in Bavaria, the regional court became part of the Vilsbiburg district office in administrative terms . The remaining judicial institutions in Vilsbiburg initially retained the name of the regional court. On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the District Court of Vilsbiburg was established, the district of which was identical to the previous district of Vilsbiburg and was made up of the localities of Aham , Aich , Altfraunhofen , Babing , Baierbach , Bergham , Binabiburg , Bodenkirchen , Bonbruck , Diemannskirchen , Dietelskirchen , Dirnaich , Eberspoint , Felizenzell , woman Sattling , front Hausen , Gaindorf , Geisenhausen , Gerzen , hair Bach , Hölsbrunn , wood Hausen , Jesendorf , Kröning , light Haag , Loizenkirchen , Neufraunhofen , Neuhausen , Paul cell , Rampoldstetten , Ruprechtsberg , Salksdorf , Schalkham , Seyboldsdorf , Velden , Vilsbiburg , Vilslern , Wolferding and Wurmsham .
