history

The St. Emmeram branch church is a late Romanesque hall church with a retracted choir, probably from the 13th century. In addition to Neuhausen, it included the places Alram, Berghofen, Blamberg, Buchloh, Engkofen, Geigenberg, Haag, Hausberg, Heiglberg, Hermannsöd, Höslpoint, Holzen, Hustenöd, Kitzing, Kobel, Maieröd, Petzenberg, Prosmering, Reit, Schachtenöd, Seemannshof, Stidel, Vorderöd, Wendeldorf and Wimmw. The parish was attached to the parish of Aham on April 1, 1971 as part of the parish reform.
