history

In 889/891 the chapel or church in Pauluszell (and that of Velden) is donated to the cathedral of Regensburg. The current parish church of Pauli Conversion is a late Gothic wall pillar church from the second half of the 15th century. The community of Pauluszell existed since 1818 as a result of the reforms of Count Montgelas . On May 1, 1978, as part of the municipal area reform, the previously independent municipality of Pauluszell, which had more inhabitants than Wurmsham, was incorporated into Wurmsham. On January 1, 1976, the four districts of Eggersdorfern , Vultures , Loh and Reit came from Ruprechtsberg to Pauluszell. The new municipality became part of the Velden administrative community.
