Jacob quarrel

Jakob Streit (born September 23, 1910 in Spiez ; † May 15, 2009 ibid) was a Swiss writer who was best known as an author of books for children and young people .

Life

Jakob Streit graduated from the teacher training college and worked as a primary school teacher in the canton of Bern . As a director, he directed the Tell open-air theater in Interlaken from 1947 to 1952 , and the Spiez Castle Games from 1958 to 1964 and 1967.

After retiring as a teacher, he worked as a freelance writer and held numerous courses and lectures on topics related to cultural history. Most of his books have been published by anthroposophical publishers.
