Jamal Alioui (born June 2, 1982 in Saint-Étienne ) was a French - Moroccan football player and today's coach .

Jamal Alioui started his career in France in 2001 with the second team of Olympique Lyon and ran in 42 games for the club and scored one goal. He then went to Italy to AC Perugia , where he played five Serie A league games . The Frenchman later played for Catania Calcio , FC Crotone and FC Metz . From January 2007 to June 2010 he was under contract with the Swiss Super League club FC Sion . With the Valais he won the Swiss Cup in 2008/09 with the final win on penalties against the BSC Young Boys .

For the Moroccan national soccer team , he has played in ten international matches since 2003. Alioui played two games for Morocco at the 2004 Olympics and was sent off once with a red card. He was in the Morocco squad at the 2008 African Cup of Nations , in which he did not appear.
