Jamie Hickox (born February 8, 1964 in Oakville ) is a retired British - Canadian squash player .

Career

Jamie Hickox, who is a Canadian and British citizen, was active on the PSA World Tour from 1982 to 1997 . During this time he won a title on the tour. He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 17 in August 1987.

With the England team he took in 1985 at the World Cup in part and was with her 1987 European champion . In 1993 he was part of the Canadian squad at the World Cup. From 1983 to 1990 he was eight times in a row in the main field of the individual world championship. In 1984 , 1987 and 1990 he reached the round of 16. In 1986 he became Canadian champion .

During his career as a player, he began a coaching career. From 1993 to 1997 and again from 2006 to 2010 he was the coach of the Malaysian national team . In between he was the director of a squash club in the United States. From September 2011 to August 2017 he worked for the Canadian Squash Federation as Performance Director .

He is married and has three children.
