Jan-Erik "Godehardt" Slooten (born September 28, 1984 in Geldern ) is a German racing driver , web video producer and entrepreneur .

life and career

Jan-Erik Slooten has been taking part in the Porsche Sports Cup Germany since 2010 .

Together with Dirk Mansfeld, Jan-Erik Slooten founded RP Vertriebsgesellschaft mbh in 2012 and registered the associated RING POLICE brand. Since then he has competed in the Porsche Sports Cup Germany with this team. Furthermore, RING POLICE offers various tuning services such as lowering and performance optimization, sells rare sports cars (mainly Porsche) and coaches in motorsport.

On July 30, 2013, he opened the YouTube channel Team RING POLICE on which vlogs about everyday life as a racing team appear on a regular basis .

From the 2018 season he will take part in the ADAC GT Masters together with Lucas Luhr in the Iron Force by RING POLICE team. He founded the team together with Jean Pierre Kraemer . A Porsche 911 GT3 R was used as the vehicle .

Also that year he took part with Lucas Luhr in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring in the GetSpeed ​​Performance team together with Marek Böckmann and Steve Jans and finished 12th overall.

In 2019 he and Lucas Luhr took part in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring for the first time with his own team. The other two drivers were Steve Jans and Adrien de Leener. They achieved a successful 11th place overall.

As part of the Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race , he took part in the Porsche Weekend races in a Porsche GT2RS Clubsport . In the first race he finished 2nd overall and 1st in the class. In the second race of the weekend he finished 2nd overall and 1st in his class.

On February 10, 2020, the Mönchengladbach District Court initiated preliminary insolvency proceedings against RP Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH and insolvency proceedings were opened on April 30, 2020.
