Jan-Fiete Buschmann (born May 17, 1981 in Bielefeld ) is a German handball player . Most recently he played in the 1st handball Bundesliga at TSV Hannover-Burgdorf, mostly in the right back or right wing .

Buschmann started playing handball at TV Werther . At the age of 17, Buschmann switched to GWD Minden . In his first season (1998/1999) he still played in the A-Jugend, then in the 1999/2000 season he played for the first team of GWD.

From the 2009/2010 season he was under contract with TSV Hannover-Burgdorf. In February 2014 the TSV announced that the contract with Buschmann would be terminated at the end of the 2013/14 season. In the EHF Europa Pokal 2013/14 he reached the group stage. Until the end of his career in August 2015, he was still available to TSV.

Buschmann played a total of nine international matches for the German national team between 2002 and 2004.
