Jan-Kristian Thurner (born February 23, 1998 ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a defender.
Career
Thurner began his football career in the youth of the SV Trieben , from which he was committed in 2012 by the Kapfenberger SV for their youth. He gained his first experience in the men's area from May 2014 at ASC Rapid Kapfenberg , which acts as the third team of KSV, in the fifth-class league.
In July 2015 he made his debut for the second team from Kapfenberg in the regional league when he was in the starting line-up against SV Anger on the first day of the 2015/16 season . During the winter break of that season, he moved up into the professional squad.
In May 2016 he was in the squad for the first time against SK Austria Klagenfurt . In August 2017 he finally made his debut in the second division when he came on as a substitute for Benjamin Rosenberger in the 82nd minute on the sixth match day of the 2017/18 season against SC Wiener Neustadt .
After the 2017/18 season he left Kapfenberg and moved to the fourth-class ESV St. Michael .
