Jan-Lars Gaubatz (born July 11, 1989 in Mainz ) is a German handball player . The left-hander plays both on the right back space and on the right winger .

Career

Gaubatz began playing handball at TV Alzey . As a youth player he moved to VfL Gummersbach , whose handball academy he went through. In 2008 he was signed by the then second division club TSG Friesenheim . With TSG he rose to the first division for the 2010/11 season . On July 1, 2011 VfL Gummersbach signed Gaubatz again. The student (sports and geography) got a three-year contract.

From the second half of 2014/15 he ran for the second division team ASV Hamm-Westphalia . In summer 2016 he switched to VfL Eintracht Hagen .
