Jan Antolec (born May 3, 1990 in Nowy Targ ) is a Polish cross-country skier .

Career

Antolec has mainly participated in the Slavic Cup since 2006 . He has won once so far and achieved third place in the overall standings in the 2010/11 , 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , he reached 82nd place over 15 km freestyle and 16th place in the relay. He entered his first World Cup race in December 2013 at the Nordic Openings in Kuusamo , which he finished with 89th place in the overall ranking. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , he finished 63rd in the 30 km skiathlon and 15th in the relay. In February 2015 he achieved 51st place in the 15 km freestyle and 15th place with the relay at the 2015 Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun . He finished the 2015 World Cup Mini Tour in Ruka and the 2016 World Cup Mini Tour in Lillehammer in 66th and 75th place. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 2017 , he finished 65th in the sprint, 51st in the skiathlon and 34th in the 50 km mass start race. In March 2018 he won the Piastów 50 km classic.
