Jan Daniec (born June 26, 1968 in Kłodzko , † December 24, 2007 in the USA ) was a Polish football player . Coming from Pogoń Stettin , he played between 1993 and 1995 for the then third division club 1. FC Magdeburg .

Career

Jan Daniec started playing football at KS Trojan Lądek-Zdrój before his first position in the men's division Energetyk Gryfino. After only a year he moved to Pogoń Stettin , but could not assert himself here. He was then loaned to Zagłębie Lubin . Back in Szczecin , he was part of the Pogon squad for over four years, but only made 14 missions in which he scored three goals. He was then loaned out again, this time to Dąb Dębno Lubuskie. In 1993 Jan Daniec moved to Germany for the third division club 1. FC Magdeburg. In two years in Magdeburg he was a regular player and scored 15 goals in 51 league games. After his time in Magdeburg, Daniec let his career end with the lower-class clubs FSV Optik Rathenow , SV 09 Staßfurt and SV Altlüdersdorf .

After the end of his career, Jan Daniec emigrated to the USA, where he died on Christmas Eve 2007 after a brief serious illness.
