Jan Graf

Jan Graf (* 1973 in Buxtehude ) is a German musician , author and radio broadcaster .

Life

Jan Graf grew up on a farm in the Lüneburg Heath . During his studies, which he began at the University of Kiel in 1999 , he came to the Norddeutscher Rundfunk and worked there as an editor for NDR 1 Welle Nord from 2001 to 2003. In 2003 he went to Stockholm for a year in the German-language editorial team of Swedish Radio . After his return in 2004, he founded Plaggenhauer-Verlag, a publishing house for North and Low German literature and linguistics. In the following year Graf joined the team for the show Hör mal'n prayen to , for which he writes and speaks. Since 2008 he can be heard regularly on NDR 90.3 . In addition to Hör mal'n prayen to and Wi snackt Platt , he speaks there alternately with colleagues such as B. Benita Brunnert the Norichten op Platt .

Since 2007 Jan Graf has released several CDs, of which Mit den Regen was nominated for the best list of the German Record Critics' Award. He has also made a name for himself as an author of Low German literature with Wurst-TV un anner Hör mal'n pray to stories and Dat Shirts sitt di neger as de Büx . Graf also organizes readings and song evenings, where he accompanies himself on the guitar or harmonica. He is married, has four sons and lives with his family near Kiel.
