Jan Koch (born April 30, 1980 in Tübingen ) is a German singer-songwriter .

Life

After studying German , English and European ethnology , he moved to Berlin at the end of 2005 and decided to become a songwriter. He releases his albums on the Berlin label Reptiphon . His music is characterized by melancholy-ironic lyrics, which he accompanies with guitar . He became known through appearances on reading stages and poetry slams . In 2008 he was able to win first place in the Singer Slam of the Hamburger Schauspielhaus .

He lives in Stechlin in Brandenburg .
