Jan Philip Lange (born November 10, 1974 in Gehrden ) is a German film producer , production manager , production manager and producer for post-production.

life and work

After graduating from high school, Lange attended the Film and Television Academy "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam-Babelsberg from 1997 to 2004, where he graduated in 2004 (Dipl. Film and TV Economics). He worked as a filmmaker in various functions such since he was 14 years manager , assistant director , director and editor . In 2001, Lange founded Junifilm GmbH together with Niklas Bäumer and Anke Hartwig in Berlin and acted as its partner, managing director and producer. From 2003 to 2005, Lange worked as a producer for Studio Hamburg Produktion GmbH and then founded his second company (Shamrock Media Ltd.) before moving to WDR in 2006 as production manager for commissioned, co-productions and in-house productions. From April 2008 to December 2012 he worked as production manager for Relevant Film in Hamburg . In January 2013 Jan Philip Lange changed the industry for two years and worked as operations manager of the Hamburg-Holstein transport company and as managing director of the subsidiary Orthmann's Reiseienst GmbH. From 2015 to 2016 he worked at the film post-production company The Post Republic as in-house producer and head of the Hamburg branch, then as a freelance production manager and from mid-2017 to 2018 as production manager at Hamburg-based Tamtam Film GmbH . Since October 2018, Lange has been managing partner and producer again at Junifilm GmbH , whose headquarters he relocated from Berlin to Hanover. He has also represented Bremedia Produktion GmbH as production manager since April 2020 .
