Jan Szkodoń (born December 19, 1946 in Chyżne , Poland ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Krakow .

Life

Jan Szkodoń studied Catholic theology and philosophy at the seminary in Cracow . He received on 22 March 1970, through the Archbishop of Krakow, Karol Józef Cardinal Wojtyla , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On May 14, 1988 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Turrisblanda and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Krakow. The Archbishop of Krakow, Cardinal Franciszek Macharski , ordained him episcopal on June 4th of the same year in the Wawel Cathedral in Krakow ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Tarnów , Jerzy Karol Ablewicz , and the Bishop of Częstochowa , Stanisław Nowak .
