Jan Vos (soccer player)
Jan Vos (born April 17, 1888 in Utrecht , † August 25, 1939 in Dordrecht , South Holland ) was a Dutch football player .
Between 1912 and 1914 he played 15 international matches for the Dutch national football team , scoring ten goals. Eight of his ten goals he scored in four games at the 1912 Summer Olympics in Stockholm , placing him in second place behind the British Harold Walden in the tournament's scorers list . Vos scored five goals in the 9-0 win over Finland in the third-place match that won the Dutch national team the bronze medal.
Jan Vos played for the Utrechtse Voetbal Vereniging .
