Jan Walter

Jan Walter (* 1984 in Trier ) is a German actor.

Life

Jan Walter was born in Trier in 1984 and grew up in Bitburg . From 2004 to 2007 he studied media and cultural studies in Düsseldorf and Alicante .

He completed his acting training from 2008 to 2011 at the Universität der Künste Berlin (UdK). He had engagements at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater and the Deutsches Theater Berlin before he was a member of the ensemble at the Landestheater Niederösterreich from 2012 to 2016 .

Further engagements took him to Ballhaus Naunynstraße and the Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen . He lives in Vienna and can be seen again and again as a guest at the Baden stage and the Theater der Jugend Wien . In 2017 he played the title role in Das Bildnis des Dorian Gray at the Schauspielhaus Salzburg . In addition to appearances in film, TV and advertising, he also works as a speaker for audio books and radio.

Since the 2019/20 season he has been a member of the Trier theater ensemble .
