Jane Jamieson
Jane Leanne Jamieson (born June 23, 1975 in Sydney ) is a former Australian heptathlete .
In 1995 she came at the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg on 14th place and won the Universiade in Fukuoka . At the 1996 Olympic Games , she finished 20th.
In 1998 she won silver at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur . In 1999 she was fifth in the pentathlon at the World Indoor Championships in Maebashi . She gave up at the World Cup in Seville .
A tenth place at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney was followed by gold medals at the 2001 Universiade in Beijing and at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
She was Australian champion four times (1995, 1996, 1998, 2001).
