Janek Ledecký

Jan "Janek" Ledecký (born July 27, 1962 in Prague ) is a Czech pop musician , singer , guitarist and composer .

After graduating from high school, Ledecký studied law at Charles University in Prague. In 1982 he joined the pop band Žentour, which had been founded a year earlier, as a singer and guitarist. Since 1992 he has been a successful solo artist with over a dozen albums released . He is also the composer of several musicals , including a rock opera adaptation of William Shakespeare's tragedy Hamlet .

Ledecký is the father of snowboarder and ski racer Ester Ledecká and Jonáš Ledecký , a well-known artist, comic designer and musician. He is also the son-in-law of ice hockey player Jan Klapáč .
