Jaran Sathoengram (born February 9, 1993 ) is a Thai athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Jaran Sathoengram gained his first international experience at the Junior World Championships 2012 in Barcelona , where he was eliminated in the first round with the Thai 4 x 100 meter relay with 39.68 seconds. The following year he started in the 200-meter run at the Summer Universiade in Kazan , but failed there with 22.00 seconds in the run-up. At the Asian Games in Incheon , he was used with the relay in advance; the team later reached fourth place in the final. In 2015 he finished fifth with the relay in 38.98 s at the Asian Championships in Wuhan . Shortly afterwards he won the silver medal over 200 meters at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore in 21.05 s. With the Thai relay he took part again in the student world games in Gwangju and came in fifth there. Two years later he also took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar and won the silver medal behind the team from China in 39.38 seconds. He then won the South East Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur and was fifth at the Summer Universiade in Taipei in 39.22 s.

In 2018 he took part again with the relay at the Asian Games in Jakarta and finished sixth in the Thai relay in 39.29 s.

In 2012 Sathoengram became the Thai champion in the 100 meter run.
