Jarosław Pawluk

Jarosław Pawluk (born July 8, 1961 ) is a Polish entrepreneur and investor who mainly works in the rail industry and is one of the richest Poles . His fortune was estimated at around 400 million euros in the annually updated rich list of the Polish edition of Forbes magazine in 2013, placing him in 13th place on this list.

In 1992 Pawluk founded CTL Logistics and in 2007 he sold his company to Bridgepoint Capital .

In February 2010, Pawluk acquired the Polish company Kolbet from Suwałki and renamed it Track Tec . In 2008, Kolbet took over a competitor, Wytwórnia Podkładów Strunobetonowych SA (WPS) from Goczałków in the Lower Silesian Powiat Świdnicki , and ran into financial difficulties. In the following year, Pawluk bought another railway infrastructure producer, KolTram Sp. Z oo, as part of a privatization program and integrated this company into Track Tec . The purchase price for both companies was estimated at 130 million zlotys. Track Tec offers prestressed concrete sleepers , switches and rails for railroad and tram tracks. According to analysts, Pawluk plans to use modern production and sales structures to bring more competition to a sector that has hitherto been largely monopolized with his entry into rail system technology - as he did before in rail freight transport. Pawluk's wife Katarzyna is responsible for Track Tec's marketing .

Pawluk also invests in renewable energies .
