Jarred Seymour (born February 22, 1990 in Toronto , Ontario , Canada ) is a former Canadian - Australian ice hockey player who last played for the Cornell Big Red , the team at Cornell University .
Career
Jarred Seymour, who was born in Canada, began his career with the Toronto Marlboros Minor , for which he played in the Greater Toronto Minor Midget Hockey League , a lower-class junior league in the commuting area of his native city. Although it Ottawa 67's in the OHL Priority Selection in the third round chose 2006 as a total of 46 players, he moved that year to the Wellington Dukes in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League and a year later to their league rivals Stouffville Spirit . He most recently played during his studies from 2009 to 2012 for Cornell Big Red , the Cornell University team , in the National Collegiate Athletic Association .
International
Although Seymour grew up in Canada and spent his entire career there, he played internationally for Australia. In the junior division, he represented the Twam from Down Under at the U18 World Championship in 2005 in Division III and at the U18 World Championship in 2007 in Division II.
He played with the Australian men's national team at the 2009 and 2012 World Championships in Division I.
