Jarzt is a parish village in the western district of Freising (Upper Bavaria). It belongs to the municipality of Fahrenzhausen .

history

The parish church in Jarzt was first mentioned in 1315, and it had four branch churches. In the course of the formation of the community after the second community edict, Jarzt formed its own rural community. On January 1, 1971, the previously independent community was incorporated into Großnöbach . On July 1, 1972, Großnöbach again lost its status as an independent municipality and was incorporated into Fahrenzhausen with Jarzt.
