The Jasgulem ( Russian Язгулем , Мазардара, Обимазар) is a right tributary of the Pandsch in the autonomous province of Berg-Badachschan in the east of Tajikistan .

The Jasgulem has its origin in the glaciers on the northern slope of the Jasgulem chain . It flows in a south-westerly direction in a deep valley through the Pamir Mountains and finally flows into the Pyandj. It separates the Wantsch chain in the north from the Jasgulem chain in the south. The Jasgulem has a length of 80 km. The catchment area covers 1970 km². The mean discharge 6 km above the mouth is 36.2 m³ / s. The Jasgulem is mainly fed by the meltwater from the glaciers. In the summer months from June to September the river is flooded . The river is usually ice-covered between late November and February.
