Jasionno ( German  Eschenhorst ) is a village in the rural community Gronowo Elbląskie ( Grunau ) in the powiat Elbląski ( Elbing ) of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in northern Poland . The place has about 250 inhabitants.

history

Before 1945 the area was part of East Prussia . Jasionno was sometimes referred to as Jeżewo, Jasionn or Eichenhorst . The registry office in East Prussia was for the residents in Thiensdorf ( Jezioro ). In the years 1975-1998 the place was administratively part of the Elbląg Voivodeship .
