The Gmina Gronowo Elbląskie is a rural municipality in the powiat Elbląski in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in northern Poland near the Baltic Sea coast . Their seat is the village of the same name ( German : Grunau ).

history

From 1772 to 1919 the places belonged to West Prussia . From 1920 to 1939 the area became part of East Prussia . From 1975 to 1998 the rural community was part of the Elbląg Voivodeship .
